An Artistic Residency in its ideal context is supposed to be a stand-alone dimension and a research place far from the city.
Artists from all over the world and from all disciplines have access to the residency program, with special attention to the field of performative, visual and musical arts. Ponte di Archimede Produzioni supports the artists by providing its spaces and contributing to the artistic production of the project presented.
The Residency sets its headquarters in Castellammare del Golfo (TP) among the heights of Mount Inici, few kilometres from the sea. The whole complex stands in a land of 17 hectares where olive trees and buildings made of stone and pozzolana live in perfect harmony.
In addition to the residency program workshops, debates, and other events together with the artists in residency are organised at the Ponte di Archimede Produzioni studios, in order to stimulate the creative processes through a total involvement in the rural context.
